An AI Employee is a workplace-ready worker with a defined role, responsibilities, tools, knowledge, and work history. It can be assigned tasks, connected to workflows, and managed by your team.A good AI Employee is not a vague chatbot. It should have a clear job, clear boundaries, and a clear review process.
Start with a task that is repeatable, easy to describe, and easy for a human to review.Strong first use cases include document intake, recurring reports, template drafting, file checks, research summaries, and administrative routing. Avoid starting with high-risk decisions or unclear processes.
No. Odella is built for teams that want to describe work in business terms. You can create workers, connect templates, upload documents, and build workflows visually.Technical teams can still use advanced workflow blocks and integrations where needed, but coding is not required for most operational use cases.
Workflows define the repeatable steps behind a task. They help workers read information, transform data, make structured decisions, draft outputs, and hand work back to your team for review.Examples include:
  • Collecting and validating intake information
  • Reviewing documents for missing details
  • Preparing a report from multiple sources
  • Populating a template from structured data
  • Routing work to the right person or worker
Templates help teams produce consistent documents quickly. You can turn existing PDF or DOCX precedents into reusable templates, then populate them with information collected from workflows, documents, or user input.
Document stores are places to keep files, research, policies, examples, and other reference material. Workers can use this knowledge when completing tasks, depending on the permissions and configuration you choose.

Odella uses layered controls for identity, customer separation, worker execution, integrations, model access, credentials, monitoring, and human approval. Customers are responsible for configuring user access, worker capabilities, connected services, and review requirements appropriately.See Security and data protection, the Trust Center, Data Processing Addendum, and Privacy Policy.
Yes. Odella is designed for human-managed work. You can build review steps into workflows, inspect outputs, and improve worker instructions over time.For business-critical tasks, we recommend keeping a human review step in the workflow.
Open Tasks and inspect its details. Queued, running, waiting, and blocked work is not completed. A completed task still needs review of its answer and returned files.
Yes. Create a personal access token under Account → Developer and follow the MCP server guide. Token scopes limit access and cannot override your live Odella permissions.
Workers can prepare signing requests from configured templates. You review the request and approve sending; each invited person provides their own signature. See E-signing.
Check account limits, capability eligibility, a hard monthly spend limit, worker availability, and permissions. Funding, capacity, and authorization are separate controls.
Use Account → Organization for members, teams, and roles. Use the worker’s Governance panel or a store’s Access settings for resource-specific sharing.
