Availability and schedule

Quick presets provide common schedules. Turn on Customize to adjust the hours and eligible days.

Field	What it means	Default
Working Hours	The local start and end of each selected working day.	9 AM–5 PM
Eligible Working Days	Days on which the working window applies. At least one is required.	Monday–Friday
After-Hours Behavior	What happens when a request arrives outside the saved window.	After Hours Billing

The saved end time must be later than the start time, and a working window cannot exceed 24 hours.

After-hours behavior

Value	Request behavior	Billing behavior
Queue for next session	Holds incoming work until the next eligible working window opens.	The request does not start paid after-hours work.
Reject requests	Declines requests received outside working hours.	The rejected request does not start paid after-hours work.
After Hours Billing	Allows the worker to handle the request immediately.	Working time is charged under the after-hours terms in the active quote. The current standard rate is 1.5× the worker’s hourly price, billed in started 30-minute blocks.

For example, with a $2.00 hourly price, one started 30-minute after-hours block is:

$2.00 × 1.5 × 0.5 hours = $1.50

Two hours of billable after-hours work at that price would be $6.00. Started-block rounding means any part of a block counts as the full block.

The monthly estimate in Billing excludes after-hours work. Selecting After Hours Billing can therefore make the settled total higher than the displayed scheduled monthly estimate.

Regional and localization fields

Field	What it means	Billing or scheduling effect
Default Timezone	The IANA timezone used by the worker.	Determines the local boundary for working hours, calendar tasks, reports, and whether a request is after hours.
Primary Language	Preferred language for interactions and generated content. Options are English (US), English (UK), Spanish, French, and German.	Does not normally change the hourly quote.
Currency Display	Currency used for display and reporting. Options are USD, EUR, GBP, and AUD.	Changes display context; the saved quote remains the source of truth for the billed currency and rate.

Timezone defaults to UTC. Language and currency can inherit the account configuration; otherwise they default to English (US) and USD.

Set the timezone and working hours before creating calendar tasks. A wrong timezone can run scheduled work at the wrong local time or classify a request as after hours.
